Guy had been performing in the Tangiers, Morocco kasbah circuit for the past 6 years. They may have been originally from Belguim or Germany where they learned to play krautrock beats, which not only became a part of their sound, it also allowed Guy to play very long sets. Sometimes 48 to 72 hours shows. Such were the dues you had to pay to play in the dangerous Rock and Roll underground of Tangiers.
